RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED!
We are excited to announce that as of May 29th, 2020 veterinarians can perform all procedures. This includes procedures not previously allowed such as dental cleanings, spays, neuters, & all vaccinations.
Caring Animal Hospital continues to practice social distancing guidelines which limits the likelihood of Corona Virus exposure. This includes the following:
- For all technician appointments, please call the office when you get to the hospital; we will come and get your pet. Wait in the parking lot, and we will bring him/her out when the procedure is finished.
- If your pet has an appointment to see the veterinarian, we have 2 options:
- Option One: One (1) person may enter the building with their pet. This person will need to “pass” the health screening questions and have their temperature taken when entering the building. To mitigate exposure, once you are in the exam room you will stay in the room until the appointment is completed. Although, depending on the procedures your pet needs, he/she may leave the exam room during the appointment.
- Option Two: We continue to offer “telemedicine” appointments. For these appointments, call the office when you get to the hospital. We will get a history over the phone and then get your pet from the car while you wait in the parking lot (do not leave). The doctor will call with the exam findings and perform approved diagnostics and treatments.
