WHAT IT LASER THERAPY:
Laser therapy is a state of the art surgery-free, drug free, noninvasive treatment for many conditions. Laser therapy uses a beam of light to deeply penetrate tissue without damaging it; stimulating the cells to repair themselves and produce anti-inflammatory mediators. Laser therapy is also antibacterial, killing bacteria helps to prevent and treat infectious conditions. Laser therapy has been scientifically proven to be successful in treating post-surgical pain, acute, and chronic conditions.
HOW IT WORKS:
Patients rest either on their family’s lap or on a blanket while laser light is delivered through a noninvasive handpiece to treat the affected area. Your pet may feel gentle and soothing warmth. As the laser is administered, many pets will relax, much like you would experiencing a good massage. The almost immediate relief of pain will allow your pet to be comfortable and any anxiety that your pet initially experienced will dissipate. Most treatments take only a few minutes.
WHAT IS THE COST:
Treatments protocols are unique to each patient and condition; therefore, treatments vary in time complexity, and cost. Laser therapy can be used by itself, or it can be used with other treatment plans to speed recovery or provide more pain control.
Cost starts at $35 per treatment. Packages are available for multiple visits.
Some conditions are treated only one time, others are treated multiple times, and still others are treated every 4-8 weeks for the life of your pet.
WHAT CONDITIONS CAN BE TREATED:
Any condition acute or chronic that causes inflammation can be treated.
